Here is our plan today!

Today we are going to be seeing our conducting video and practicing together playing Ain't Misbehavin so we can successfully submit online today.

1) Everyone gets to say "hi" in the Zoom meeting! Is there anything you'd like to share with us?

2) Very brief review of norms

3) As part of that review we'll listen to Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong playing Ain't Misbehavin

Listening to the above will take around 5 minutes or so.

4) Conducting videos! I will show you how they work and present them so you can use them. 

5) Hopefully today everyone has learned the entire song. We are going to go around the zoom and play what we have, and I will provide extra help to each person to make sure you have it! 

6) We are going to try to play "Teacher vs. Class"

7) Today we will review the entire major scale.

8) Review Tonic Patterns and Dominant patterns on the instrument.

9)  We are going to try creating our own tonic and dominant patters today using our instrument. Each person needs to create patterns. We will go around the Zoom meeting and take turns.

10) Mr. Akter is going to demonstrate how a "Play Along" recording works. Our only assignment is going to be learning the melody to Ain't Misbehavin this week. (3 minutes or so)

11) We are going to be setting up our zoom submissions! Those will be due next Monday.
