July 20th Summer Band
Welcome to our second Summer Band Session, Wednesday July 13th! Here is our plan today! 1) Everyone gets to say "hi" in the Zoom meeting! Is there anything you'd like to share with us? 2) Very brief review of norms 3) As part of that review we'll listen to Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong playing Ain't Misbehavin This is Fats Waller playing Ain't Misbehavin This is Louis Armstrong playing Ain't Misbehavin Listening to the above will take around 5 minutes or so. 4) Hopefully today everyone has learned the entire song. We are going to go around the zoom and play what we have, and I will provide extra help to each person to make sure you have it! 5) We are going to try to play "Teacher vs. Class" 6) Today we will review the entire major scale. 7) Review Tonic Patterns and Dominant patterns on the instrument. 8) We are going to try creating our own tonic and dominant patters today using our instrument.
